One Room Challenge (Week 6) Dining Room REVEAL

It's week SIX! Our dining room is officially done and the One Room Challenge has come to an end...

Check out all the ORC reveals here....Guest Participants
Before I get into all the pictures I want to thank my partners on this project! Without them this room would never have come together as it did!  So a BIG "thank you" to

Lets start off by taking a look back six weeks at the dining room "Before".

The room sat pretty empty for a few months after we moved in but now it is anything but empty!

She's all DONE!

When I come down the stairs now I can't help but love my new view! I am so happy I went with the side accent wall and not the wall opposite the window!  I think it makes the room feel bigger.

(Chandelier linked on the blog just search "Kitchen and dining lighting")

Everything about this wall I adore.  When we (aka my husband) were hanging the beautiful sunburst mirror (from Pier1) I made sure the height of it reflected that chandy and the new artwork.

The fiddle leaf fig tree from QVC really sealed the deal for me.  I thought I would have had some sort of a tropical in this room but after finding the deal of a lifetime (I'm still watching for them to restock for you guys.) there was no way I could pass.

When you walk in through my front door this is the first room you see and I'm so happy that it came out so bright! I think it sets the perfect tone for the rest of the house. I can't wait for our summer visitors to start showing up and using this room!

The ORC has been such a great experience and I just may have to participate in the fall!! I'm busy working on the guest room and loft upstairs but I do have another project I've been thinking about....I guess we will wait and see! Thanks for all your support as always!!

XOXO
Tracy

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully...

Our new two-tone kitchen!

*Disclaimer- This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.  All opinions are my own. Thank you to The Home Depot for sponsoring this post! Post contains affiliate links.* It's finished!! I know you all have been waiting patiently for me to show pictures of this project! I tried to keep things, for the most part, underwraps because we all love a good BEFORE and AFTER! Am I right?! Talk about your mood board becoming a reality!! I am in LOVE with this kitchen. With the help of the Home Depot's mobile app product locator I was able to make sure all the items I wanted were in stock before purchasing.  Plus I was able to read the product reviews and get all the information I needed quickly!  Before I share any more looks at the new kitchen let's take a glance at it before the project got started.   Also just for some extra fun let's throw in what the kitchen looked like 5 years ago when we bought the house!   I'm pretty sure I have never shared these pictures ...
