One Room Challenge (Dining Room) - Week 4

Say whaaat?! It's week FOUR of the One Room Challenge people! That means we have two weeks left until our final reveals!! Am I nervous? YES! Am I excited YES! This room has actually completely gone in a different direction than my original vision for it when we moved in (November).  I think that's a good thing though because I wasn't sure of how the house would "feel" before or the "vibe" it would take on once all four of us actually lived in it.

My original idea for this room was simple, bright and coastal.  Then as I began actually planning out the design I decided that the "less is more" look wasn't really for me.  It could be because this room sat so bare and empty for months that I just desperately needed STUFF to fill my dining room void. Either way with only two weeks left in the challenge I am feeling great about the transformation thus far.  (Check out the three ORC pr…

Don't Worry Beach Happy...

This week we officially closed on our latest house flipping project so before we dive back into complete renovation chaos the fam and I are packing up and heading out to one of our favorite little beach hideaways for a few days.  Which works out perfectly because on Sunday my husband celebrates his 39th birthday! I bought a few new items as well as some of my beach essentials from last year and thought I'd share!  This post may contain affiliate links.

One Room Challenge (Dining Room) - Week 3

Week THREE! I can't believe we are at the halfway point of the challenge already! This week has been a real game changer for the dining room.  The accent wall went up and it is AMAZING! I have to give a huge thank you to WallPops for partnering with me on the wallpaper. It is exactly...actually even better....than what I imagined for the wall!!

This is the NuWallpaper from WallPops! You may remember I have used their removable wall decals in my youngest daughters room as well as the play area in the loft.  This wallpaper was so easy to install! I actually did the whole wall (10ft ceilings and all) by myself!
This gorgeous blue patterned paper is the "Kensington Damask Paper" Find the wallpaper here.....Kensington Wallpaper

To install the paper I started on the upper left side. As the roll drops you just smooth out the paper and lightly pull the backing down.

Disney Cruise -Spring Break 2017

First off let me start by apologizing for how long this blog post took me! It's just I had like 500 pictures to go through PLUS there is so much information that I'm not gonna lie...it led to procrastination! However this week I needed to get it finished and posted and TaDa...it's finished. (All opinions are my own based on our actual Disney Cruise Vacation) For those that want to cut right to the chase...Would I Disney Cruise again? Hell YES!
We decided on the three night Bahamas Cruise out of Port Canaveral.  We sailed on the Disney Dream.  The port is about a 3 hour drive for us so we booked a hotel in Cape Canaveral (Cocoa Beach) so we could begin the vacation early...plus our hotel (Radisson) let you park at your hotel while you cruise and even provided free shuttle service back and forth from the cruise!

We scheduled to begin boarding at 11:15 (basically the earliest time) so we could get on the boat and start having some Disney fun! The boarding process seems like…
