The Polka Dot Room is back!

My sweet little 3 1/2 year old JoJo and her love for polka dots runs deep!  :) I know some of you might be thinking "Why is Tracy decorating the girls rooms the same way they were at the old house?"  To answer that question is easy... A . The girls chose their colors...again B . Their Pottery Barn Kids bedding isn't cheap C . I'm not trying to have a whole new room to decorate on top of the whole house! They both enjoy their room themes and so do I. With that being said, both rooms will eventually have some new items and decor in them but to get them feeling like "their rooms" I have set them up the best I can right now. :)  Wall Color is Blowing Kisses by Behr Paints Bedding is by Pottery Barn Kids Frame is from IKEA (I made the button "J" and fabric background) Dresser is from Kanes Furniture Mirror is from Home Goods Arrow is from Target  Crown is from Restoration Hardware Child Lamp is ...

New Kitchen Tour!

Hey friends! I'm actually blogging!! haha! It's been a nice two week break but to be honest I was itching to get a post written! Since the kitchen is probably the "most finished" for now...sorta...room in the new house I figured I would start there!  This morning I snapped some pictures from different angles and I have all the details in front of me to share.  The kitchen in the new house is right in the middle, the heart of the home!   It opens directly up into the family room and the two archways you see take you into the dining room.   The hallway with the reclaimed wood takes you to the master bedroom, downstairs half bath and laundry room! I can NOT wait to share the whole house eventually. We moved from a 1200sq ft home to a 2600sq ft home. You can just imagine  how much my organizing OCD brain is ECSTATIC to have so much room and storage! (This post contains some affiliate links) My new kitchen!  Wall Color: GrayCloth by BEHR ...

Kitchen & Dining lighting {SunnyChicCraftsman}

Happy Sunday! As promised here is the blog post linking my kitchen and dining light fixtures over at the new house!  I spent months searching and reading reviews looking for these two very specific fixtures! Not to mention these prices are unbeatable!!  (This post contains affiliate links) This gorgeous natural beaded chandelier by Sonoma is a SHOWSTOPPER! Pictures honestly don't even do it justice! Plus it's HUGE! It does take about 20-25 minutes to put together but totally worth it! (You also get extra strands of beads)  I'm using 40 watt bulbs in my dining room and it's perfect! I could not be happier with this purchase. The quality and size is remarkable considering these beaded chandys can easily run between $400-$1000.  This one is a STEAL at only $245!!! Hello Friends! I'm still here! I have been so consumed with this move (packing the old house and designing the new) that I have seriously been slacking on the blog and I hope you all forgive me! I promise in a few weeks I'll be back to my usual posting and social media activity!  However I could not miss out on my favorite monthly blog post " Get The Look !"   For the month of November I chose this gorgeous Fixer Upper episode and focused on the dining room.  It's the perfect amount of farmhouse elegance!  (This post contains affiliate link provided by Wayfair) Since last month a lot of you asked me about providing a similar  "Match"  and a similar  "Deal"  I did my best to deliver both!  Enjoy your night friends!  Dining Chair (Match!)
