The Easiest Summertime Recipe That is Sure to Impress!

The Easiest Summertime Recipe... *This is a sponsored post but all opinions and comments are mine.*

Grilling Season is here and this year it is time to impress all our friends and family! No more boring burger and hotdog cookouts...this year we are switching things up! You already know how obsessed I am with our new Current Electric Dual Zone Grill.  What I haven't talked about much is all the amazing recipes at your fingertips when you download the Current Backyard App!!

I have mentioned how useful the Current Backyard App is when it comes to monitoring your food and grill temps, but I haven't talked much about the recipes.  You can view not only basic meat and seafood grilling directions but also thoughtfully put together grilling recipes.  Whether you need to know how long to cook your drumsticks or the perfect Honey Jalapeno sauce recipe the Current Backyard App has you covered!

This past weekend I decided to show off my grilling skills with Caribbean Coconut Grilled Scallops with Brown Butter and Brussel Sprouts.  Two things that I have never grilled before!

The Current Backyard App tells you the Prep and cook time and the number of servings for each recipe. It lists your ingredients needed and breaks down the directions in a straightforward way.  For this particular recipe I learned that I needed to remove the side muscles from the fresh sea scallops. Something I had no idea even existed!

This entire recipe turned out so delicious. I might even say in my top ten dinners I have ever made!! As always, the smart features that the Current Electric Grill has make grilling anything a breeze.  Seafood especially can be tricky to tell when it is cooked through but with the Current Electric Grill's temperature food probes, I was able to see exactly when my scallops were done! If you want to try this recipe out, I have shared the directions below!

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als
