Grilling Season is Here!

*This post is sponsored. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

Grilling season has arrived, and I am HERE for it! Ever since we got our Current Backyard Dual Zone Electric Grill I have taken over as head griller in our home.  I love being able to prepare meals for my family but when it came to grilling Elton usually took over.  The Current Dual Zone Electric grill is so user friendly and basically fool proof that I now have the confidence to fire up the grill on my own! If the girls feel like burgers for lunch, I got it! Long over are the days where we wait around for supper so that Elton can get home and start grilling.  Since I personally love grilling out this makes life so much easier!

When it comes to burgers and steaks, I have pretty much become a pro! Seriously! It took me a little longer to feel confident in my chicken dishes, but the Current Backyard app has all the smart technology that ensures my chicken is cooked through.

This week I made a dinner of chicken tenderloins, corn nibblers and sweet potatoes.  I looked up the recommended recipes for all three right on the Current Backyard app.  It told me how long to cook each, at what degree and when to flip! You can set timers right on the app that tell you when it's time to flip! I used this for my corn, and they turned out perfectly charred on each side! I used the food probes on the chicken and set the temperature for the recommended 165 degrees internal temp.  Once my chicken was cooked through, I got alerted by the app and even my smart watch! No more guessing or constantly checking on your food.

There are a lot of products out there that have made my life easier, but this grill might be one of my favorite things when it comes to cooking! I can't wait to entertain this summer and wow people with my grilling expertise!

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als
