The Polka Dot Room is back!

My sweet little 3 1/2 year old JoJo and her love for polka dots runs deep!  :)

I know some of you might be thinking "Why is Tracy decorating the girls rooms the same way they were at the old house?"  To answer that question is easy...

A. The girls chose their colors...again
B. Their Pottery Barn Kids bedding isn't cheap
C. I'm not trying to have a whole new room to decorate on top of the whole house! They both enjoy their room themes and so do I.

With that being said, both rooms will eventually have some new items and decor in them but to get them feeling like "their rooms" I have set them up the best I can right now. :)

Wall Color is Blowing Kisses by Behr Paints
Bedding is by Pottery Barn Kids
Frame is from IKEA (I made the button "J" and fabric background)

Dresser is from Kanes Furniture
Mirror is from Home Goods
Arrow is from Target

Crown is from Restoration Hardware Child
Lamp is from Old Time Pottery ... I painted it Gold and added the fabric to the shade.

Canopy is from The Land of Nod  (This play canopy was always over her bed because her old room didn't have enough space! We are super excited to actually use it this way now.)
Faux Fur Rug is from IKEA

Gold Foil Prints are from Royal Prints.  You can find them on Etsy. The frames are from Dollar Tree! I just painted them Gold.

The Gold Polka Dots are from Wall Pops and are SUPER easy to put on and can be moved around! I even used these gold dots on the girls shared bathroom ceiling! If you head to my Instagram account I'm offering a 30% coupon code to use the entire month of December!! On any of their products!!

Frame is from JoAnn Fabrics and print from online.

Same thrifted/gifted table from our old neighbor...I  just repainted over the purple and made it pink to match her room.

This print I found online and can't wait to add it...just searching for the perfect frame!

I did decide to not put up her yellow wall decor from the old house and originally from her nursery. I do plan on switching some things up;)  I have something else in mind for over her bed and also some new throw pillows.

So for now her little room will stay like this until I decide or find something we both love!  Trying to make this house feel like home one step at a time. :)

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als
