From THIS to THAT!  I have major storage problems in my little home and with my growing Etsy business my kitchen desk was being taking over by wood, paint, stencils, burlap...you get the point.  Then my husband made me see the light! One night he said to me "I think you have successfully redone every inch of this house except the tiny front closet."  DUH! The tiny front closet (where extra throw pillows and paperwork went to die) I immediately got up and walked over to the closet, opened it and emptied it.  Most of the pillows had no chance of ever making it back out into our living spaces so I bagged up a few to donate and a few went into the linen closet.  I took all the paper work and folders and placed them into a large spare basket I had.   Okay, so now the closet was empty but it was rough looking.  Confession: I LOVE makeup! My makeup bag is actually two makeup bags! lol.  I thought a fun and different post would be to share what makeup I actually use on a normal day.  Kind of my everyday routine.  I do not discriminate against cheap brands! I like what works, if it's from the drugstore even better! that being said my three main makeup brushes are all by ELF.  This is a super affordable makeup line at Target.  I have their Kabuki Face brush ($6) these easily cost up to $50 at Sephora and are seriously life changing! If you don't have one get one! They are amazing! I have their eyeshadow brush and blush brush.  I also use the ELF Eyebrow kit which is Identical to the wax and shadow kit MAC sells.  Lastly by ELF I like their Bronzer/Contouring Blush Duo its pretty much the same as the NARS kit.  I have mine in "St. Lucia".  I like using the ELF duo more for the bronzer and mainly use my NARS blush duo to add pink!   Over the past weekend we drove down to Miami and spent the night at our favorite beach front hotel..Marenas Resort.  It was our anniversary weekend and wanted to go somewhere we could have fun with the whole family. This is now the second time we have taken the girls to this particular resort (which is pretty impressive because both my husband and I love trying new places.) This resort offers "condo style" rooms which is awesome when traveling with children, has a really good onsite restaurant and is located right on Sunny Isles Beach.  The standard suite has views of both the ocean and the harbor. Stunning views! They also do NOT charge extra for beach chairs and umbrellas which is almost unheard of now a days.  It's moderately priced for everything your getting in this location. These are the views off the patios and around the pool.  I just love Miami's water! Its such a beautiful color and reminds me of the Bahamas!  ...

Here it is! I have been wanting to replace my builder grade dining room fixture with something that had a little more character.  I found a $30 gold brassy chandelier on Craigslist and sent my husband to pick it up! I cleaned it up with some Windex, bought new bulbs and spray painted the entire fixture.  I bought RUST-OLEUM hammered spray paint in Copper.  I am so thrilled with the result!
