Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo friends! Our community happens to have THE best Mexican restaurant ever (which is also my favorite food ever..like EVER) so of course we celebrate! This year though with Ava still recovering from her surgery we decided to bring the food home.  So after some house hunting this afternoon I called in and placed our order that we picked up on the way home.  (and they even made some Mac and cheese for Miss Ava.  Win Win)

Obviously bringing the food home meant I would need to mix up some cocktails! I've shared before my low calorie classic lime margarita so along with that today I'll share two more fun options!

(I've also directly linked my Metal Bar Stools Set of 2  since you guys always ask me about them when we eat at the bar!) How cute are the little Corona vests?! They gave them to us a few years ago on Cinco de Mayo!

Low Calorie Classic Margarita
-4oz Sparkling ICE in Lemon Lime
-1 1/2 ounces of favorite Tequila
-1 fresh squeezed Lime
-Fresh squeezed orange juice (to your taste)
Shake it all up with some ice, pour into a salt rimmed glass and add a slice of lime for garnish

Pink Lemonade Margarita
-1 can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
-12 ounces of cold water
-12 ounces of tequila
-splash of sprite
Blend with Ice in blender and serve in salt rimmed glasses.

Strawberry Margarita
-16 ounces of frozen strawberries
-1 can of limeade
-1 cups of water
-12 ounces favorite tequila
-2 cups orange juice
-Splash of sprite
Blend with Ice in blender and serve in a salt rimmed glass with strawberry to garnish

Enjoy!

XOXO

Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully...

If you are struggling, keep reading because here are 5 ways to prepare your home for holiday guests. * Special thanks to my guest blogger Alex Berger for writing up this holiday blog post* 1. Stock The Pantry First of all, take note of who is comming.  Do you know thier likes and dislikes? If so, go ahead and stock the pantry and fridge with the things they prefer.  If you do not know what they enjoy, go ahead and ask them.  The reason that I always love to stock the pantry before my guests arrive is for a few reasons- 1) Having food in the house saves you from having the awkward "what are we going to eat" talk. 2) Having things...
