Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo friends! Our community happens to have THE best Mexican restaurant ever (which is also my favorite food ever..like EVER) so of course we celebrate! This year though with Ava still recovering from her surgery we decided to bring the food home.  So after some house hunting this afternoon I called in and placed our order that we picked up on the way home.  (and they even made some Mac and cheese for Miss Ava.  Win Win)

Obviously bringing the food home meant I would need to mix up some cocktails! I've shared before my low calorie classic lime margarita so along with that today I'll share two more fun options!

(I've also directly linked my Metal Bar Stools Set of 2  since you guys always ask me about them when we eat at the bar!) How cute are the little Corona vests?! They gave them to us a few years ago on Cinco de Mayo!

Low Calorie Classic Margarita
-4oz Sparkling ICE in Lemon Lime
-1 1/2 ounces of favorite Tequila
-1 fresh squeezed Lime
-Fresh squeezed orange juice (to your taste)
Shake it all up with some ice, pour into a salt rimmed glass and add a slice of lime for garnish

Pink Lemonade Margarita
-1 can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
-12 ounces of cold water
-12 ounces of tequila
-splash of sprite
Blend with Ice in blender and serve in salt rimmed glasses.

Strawberry Margarita
-16 ounces of frozen strawberries
-1 can of limeade
-1 cups of water
-12 ounces favorite tequila
-2 cups orange juice
-Splash of sprite
Blend with Ice in blender and serve in a salt rimmed glass with strawberry to garnish

Enjoy!

XOXO

One Room Challenge (Week 6) Dining Room REVEAL

It's week SIX! Our dining room is officially done and the One Room Challenge has come to an end...
Check out all the ORC reveals here....Guest Participants Before I get into all the pictures I want to thank my partners on this project! Without them this room would never have come together as it did!  So a BIG "thank you" to
Lexmod Furniture WallPops Bealls Outlet
Lets start off by taking a look back six weeks at the dining room "Before".

The room sat pretty empty for a few months after we moved in but now it is anything but empty!
She's all DONE!

When I come down the stairs now I can't help but love my new view! I am so happy I went with the side accent wall and not the wall opposite the window!  I think it makes the room feel bigger.

Treetopia's Merry CHIC-Mas Blog Hop

I am so excited to share that Sunny Chic Home is a part of the 2017 Treetopia Christmas Blog Hop!
This years theme couldn't be more perfect... Treetopia's Merry CHIC-Mas!
Treetopia wants to help you add some sparkle to your holidays by celebrating a glitz and glam Christmas with the Treetopia bloggers!
I am kicking off the season with a very Merry CHIC-Mas themed master bedroom! Make sure to check out the four other fabulous bloggers this week!

You all know by now I love me some Christmas spirit in the bedroom and in our new home the master is light and bright so I wanted to continue that in the holiday decor.
I chose to use the GORGeous Treetopia 7' prelit Tinkerbell Silver Christmas Tree. The silvery tinsel tips add such a magical touch and the width of 47" make the tree such a great piece and perfect CHIC-mas addition to any room.

(You can also check out all the dazzling silver trees Treetopia offers by clicking HERE.)

EASY Master Closet Makeover...I'm talking NO tools needed!

As most of you know a couple weeks ago I got so sick and tired of my crazy disaster of a master closet I decided to take on organizing it....however not just cleaning it out.  I needed to come up with a better closet system for my husband and I.
Originally I thought "Hey, I'll take down all these rods and buy a closet system that drills into the wall...and it will be so fun and easy!"
HAHAHAHAHA.  Yeaaaaaa right! Those bad boys are expensive and who is kidding who here I can barely use a drill.  SO then I decided to look for simple closet systems that would solve the issues we had in our closet.  Which were:
1. Shoes 2. Purses 3. Hats
These three issues were what really dragged it down and made it look like a hurricane swept through.  You can take a look at the "BEFORE" pics below as long as you promise not to judge!  I originally told you all I wasn't going to share my "befores" but a lot of you got a little angry at me..and you were totally right.  …
