From a Merry CHIC-Mas to a GLAM New Years Eve! (Collaboration with Treetopia)

Hey Hey Hey!!
Can you even believe Christmas is over?! Thank goodness New Years is right around the corner to keep the holiday spirit up!
This year we are hosting a NYE party which aligned perfectly with my second series blog collaboration with Treetopia!

Most people I know are very cut and dry about when their holiday decor comes down.  Either the DAY after Christmas or they wait till after the new year.  I for one like to let it linger.  I mean, yes..I do put up my decor super early but believe it or not I don't get sick of it. Twinkle lights on in the evenings give me LIFE!  I will say that I do take down the outside decorations like ASAP.  All those cords drive me nuts!! Ha!
Removing your Christmas ornaments from your trees and just letting them simply twinkle is perfect for NYE.  I also like to buy fun NYE favors (which are inexpensive) and stick them all around the tree! Before you know it you have a "New Years" Tree and it feels like totally different decor!

Okay so lets get to it!

You probably remember my gorgeous silver "tinkerbell" tree I had in the master bedroom from Treetopia.

Well I removed all the coastal blues and made it bare.  Now this tree is SO gorgeous and sparkly on its own I really didn't need to add any glam to it but I decided to use all the fun party favors (like the hats and tiaras) as some added flair. This way party guests can walk up to any of my "NYE Trees" and grab whichever they like for the evening!

I also decided to add these large glittery ornaments sporadically on each tree.  I actually used two Tinkerbell Trees on either side of our "bubbly bar".  The classic red and green with the gold from the party was the perfect pop of color!

I obviously couldn't set this champagne bar up completely since NYE is still days away but I did want to do a "test run" of how the table would be displayed.  Around the champagne glasses I knew I wanted to have these GORGeous Sugar Frosted Lights.  The party is in the evening outside and these give the perfect shimmer and actually remind me of champagne bubbles!

I really hope you all aren't getting sick of seeing our fireplace yet? I can't help it I am obsessed with this area of the backyard.  The Christmas wreath came down and up went this tuxedo black pre-lit wreath! This wreath is so glam and so large!! 30 inches to be exact!  It's such a show stopper!! I added in some silver noise makers for some NYE glam fun!

I am so excited for this party and to see everything all sparkly at night! Make sure and check (my IG and FB) Sunday evening to see all the fun photos!!

Happy New Year!!

*I received these items complimentary as part of my collaboration with Treetopia.

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als
