Holiday Cocktail Season is here....meet your starting lineup! (Winter Cocktail Series with Be Mixed)

If there are two things I know about all of you they are....
1. You guys love Disney
2. You guys love cocktails

(I suppose they sort of go hand in hand :)

Hahaha okay all jokes aside some of my most popular blog posts contain Disney tips and tricks AND the occasional cocktail recipe.  Plus with the "Fall Cocktail" Series being such a big success I decided to come back and share some "Winter/Holiday" drink recipes.

Now for the BEST part!  When Be Mixed reached out to see if I would like to collaborate with them I knew it would be the perfect "cocktail series" match made in heaven! Have you heard of this AH-mazing company?!  They sell drink mixers that are all natural, zero calorie, zero sugar!! YASSS!

On top of that they give you the recipes for some of the most delicious cocktails AND mocktails!

Since my fall version of the classic Moscow Mule was by far the most loved I decided to kick off this series with the "Be Mixed" holiday pomegranate version.

Now. Are. You. Ready. For. This....

I actually like using their "Ginger-Lime" mixer in place of the ginger beer MORE than a regular Moscow Mule.  This drink is so dang good I can't even believe it!!

Oh! And there are 5 carbs in this drink you guys!!! You know I follow a low carb diet and ginger beer is loaded with them, which always caused me to feel guilty....well not anymore! Move over ginger beer there is a new mixer in town!

Ingredients:

One Serving:

-4 oz Be Mixed Ginger Lime (SHOP HERE)

-1.5 oz Vodka

-.25 cup Pomegranate Seeds

-.5 oz Lime Juice

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Muddle pomegranate seeds
  2. Add Be Mixed, vodka and lime juice
  3. Shake and pour into a glass over Ice

It is going to be hard to top this drink because it is literally my new FAVORITE! However you never know...next week is a new week with a new drink!

Happy Holidays!

XOXO
Tracy

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als

I am so excited to share that Sunny Chic Home is a part of the 2017  Treetopia Christmas Blog Hop! This years theme couldn't be more perfect... Treetopia's Merry CHIC-Mas!  Treetopia wants to help you add some sparkle to your holidays by celebrating a glitz and glam Christmas with the Treetopia bloggers! I am kicking off the season with a very Merry CHIC-Mas themed master bedroom! Make sure to check out the four other fabulous bloggers this week! You all know by now I love me some Christmas spirit in the bedroom and in our new home the master is light and bright so I wanted to continue that in the holiday decor.   I chose to use the GORGeous Treetopia 7' prelit  Tinkerbell Silver Christmas Tree . The silvery tinsel tips add such a magical touch and the width of 47" make the tree such a great piece and perfect CHIC-mas addition to any room.   (You can also check out all the dazzling silver trees Treetopia offers by clicking  HERE

Backyard Entertaining Project

Backyard Entertaining Project with Home Depot! DISCLAIMER: This post is sponsored by Home Depot.  All opinions are my own.  Thank you to Home Depot for sponsoring this post.  Post contains affiliate links.     Spring has sprung and this girl is ready for outdoor entertaining and spending evenings under the stars! I know you all have seen our backyard for a couple years now and probably thought we were finished with it.  Well truth is during the daylight hours all is well...but after sunset we could really only entertain and hang out with friends inside the screened lanai where we have market lights strung.  The pool lighting helps a little but my conversation seating located by the fireplace gets SO dark! I tried lanterns, candles, allll the things and it is just too dark to sit and entertain with friends.       At first Elton and I discussed adding a structure.  Possibly a pergola or gazebo but unfortunately my communities HOA did not allow it.  That's when we decided to add som
