Refresh your bedroom! Fun bedding options for every budget!

When I gave our master bedroom a "mini makeover" last spring what took the longest was finding the perfect bedding.  The bedding really sets the tone for the whole room.  I had currently been using all white bedding but wanted to add in some color (Navy) but also keep my white comforter in addition to a new quilt.  I finally decided on the "Pia Medallion" Quit set from Pottery Barn.  I purchased the quilt and two Euro Shams.  With this set I could still use my regular white shams from Target, as well as the white comforter underneath the new quilt.  I finished the look with two square neutral pillow covers from IKEA and two lumbar pillows (the pattern one is from Homegoods and the "Beautiful" one is from Pottery Barn.)  The white throw I keep at the foot of the bed is from IKEA.

Since the number one question I get about my bedroom is always about the bedding I've listed and linked some bedding sets that also incorporate the white and navy that I chose. (This post contains affiliate links provided by Wayfair)

I for one am head over heels in love with this first option below!! I seriously think I need this for my future guestroom maybe?! It has such a cool coastal meets Anthro vibe don't you think?
Check them out and let me know what you think! Any possible matches for your home?

Our Master Bedroom Flooring

Last night as I was showing a neighbor around the house (for a girls wine night..how fun right?!!) I realized that I hadn't shared our master flooring and office flooring!! You guys this floor was literally a STEAL! Every single person that has come to see the new house LOVES these floors!

Okay, so back to the beginning... when we were picking out the carpet for upstairs my husband and I both decided we didn't want the master bedroom to get new carpet.  It is the only bedroom on the first floor and the entire rest of the house already had tile.  I personally did not want wood tile in the bedroom just because I felt the need for something "softer".  Getting new hardwoods wasn't exactly in the budget so we decided to check out laminates.  Now, let me start by saying I have never liked laminate. You all know as soon as we buy fixer upper properties we ALWAYS rip out the laminate.  I just think it looks cheap.  Well...I was so impressed with all the laminate floors th…

Lets start off by taking a look back six weeks at the dining room "Before".

The room sat pretty empty for a few months after we moved in but now it is anything but empty!
She's all DONE!

When I come down the stairs now I can't help but love my new view! I am so happy I went with the side accent wall and not the wall opposite the window!  I think it makes the room feel bigger.
