2017 Kitchen Trends

I'm always looking to see what's happening in the kitchen design world since my husband and I remodel/renovate so many homes throughout the year. I've been reading a lot on the design trends that will be taking over 2017 and I have to say I love them all!

I personally wasn't sold on the new black stainless steel appliances until I went and saw them in person...wow! They are gorgeous!

Take a look and see what is trending...any design choices you would pass on? I'd love to hear what you all think!

1. Black Stainless Steel Appliances (Image LG)

2. Gray is the new White. The cabinet companies are saying if there is one color that may take over white cabinetry it's shades of gray. (Image HGTV)

3. Bold Farm Sinks. Many companies are now comming out with all different bold colors for the popular farm house sink. I personally think I would prefer good old white or copper! (Image Pinterest)

4. Black and White Combos. Classic and clean. I like! (Image HGTV)

5. Mixed Hardware Finishes. I think this trend has been easing in over the past few years. I am a believer in mixing the finishes! It adds so much more character to the space! (Image HOUZZ)

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors. I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan. Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.
