Succulents for the WIN!

I have a little obsession with succulents, real and faux! (Basically I think they are the best plant ever)  This spring I decided I wanted to incorporate more real ones around the house so yesterday I went out looking for some.  My original plan was to pick up a few single ones and plant them in small pots I could paint.  Then I began searching on Pinterest and realized what I really wanted (hahaha) was one huge pot, bowl etc with lots of little ones arranged!

My first stop was the Walmart Garden Center because if you didn't know they have a CLEARANCE plant section I like to raid for ferns! Anywaysss as I walked in the entrance they had these gorgeous LARGE potted succulent arrangements for under $13.00!!!! Seriously these pictures don't even do it justice, this baby is huge!! So obviously I bought it and left one happy lady! (Oh, and I grabbed a $4.00 clearance Fern)  Good day. Good day.

Here's three reasons why succulents ROCK
-they are low maintenance
-they are gorgeous
-they can live in just about anything

Moral of the story. Go to your Walmart Garden Center!
XOXO

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully...

Our new two-tone kitchen!

*Disclaimer- This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.  All opinions are my own. Thank you to The Home Depot for sponsoring this post! Post contains affiliate links.* It's finished!! I know you all have been waiting patiently for me to show pictures of this project! I tried to keep things, for the most part, underwraps because we all love a good BEFORE and AFTER! Am I right?! Talk about your mood board becoming a reality!! I am in LOVE with this kitchen. With the help of the Home Depot's mobile app product locator I was able to make sure all the items I wanted were in stock before purchasing.  Plus I was able to read the product reviews and get all the information I needed quickly!  Before I share any more looks at the new kitchen let's take a glance at it before the project got started.   Also just for some extra fun let's throw in what the kitchen looked like 5 years ago when we bought the house!   I'm pretty sure I have never shared these pictures ...
