Flipping Out!

Okay guys so our latest house flip is finished and I couldn't be more happy with the end result! We bought this house in January and slowly renovated due to (the Condo Flip) and the fact that part of the buying disclosure stated we couldn't resell the house in under 3 months time.  This house is in a great established neighborhood and we were so excited to give the neighbors a beautiful corner house to look at instead of this eyesore!

A few of the issues with this house besides an entire gut of the inside were
1. No AC unit
2. No hot water heater
3. Sketchy electrical job in the sunroom and laundry room
4. HUGE leak from an open pipe that was dumping water outside front exterior (causing rotten wood)
5. Water pipes not correctly connected in shower
6. Ceilings needed some new beams to support fans and lights in each bedroom.
7.Wall between the two bathrooms taken down to make one large bathroom with two toilets (looking at eachother) Haha! People are crazy!

OKAY here's a look at the BEFORE pictures.

Now for the great news! We have been getting calls and walk ins at this house since we began renovations.  As of today the house is under contract (at full listing price!) and it never even made it to the market! That's a first for us! Time to start looking for our next project!

XOXO

  1. Is that savory beige in the last photo too? I am looking to use a paint to warm up a bedroom on an accent wall & I have a brass bed. I currently have white but it's a little harsh against the yellow brass. I am hoping a nice beige/tan would warm it without being overwhelming.

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully
