Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo friends! Our community happens to have THE best Mexican restaurant ever (which is also my favorite food ever..like EVER) so of course we celebrate! This year though with Ava still recovering from her surgery we decided to bring the food home.  So after some house hunting this afternoon I called in and placed our order that we picked up on the way home.  (and they even made some Mac and cheese for Miss Ava.  Win Win) Obviously bringing the food home meant I would need to mix up some cocktails! I've shared before my low calorie classic lime margarita so along with that today I'll share two more fun options!  (I've also directly linked my Metal Bar Stools Set of 2  since you guys always ask me about them when we eat at the bar!) How cute are the little Corona vests?! They gave them to us a few years ago on Cinco de Mayo!  Low Calorie Classic Margarita -4oz Sparkling ICE in Lemon Lime -1 1/2 ounces of favorite ...

Simple nature inspired Mothers Day Tablescape

Today I wanted to share my simple nature inspired Mothers Day Tablescape! You don't need to go out and buy items just to create a tablescape for your home.  All you need to do is simply look around and use items you already have, whether it be your everyday dishes with your fabric napkins or your mini potted succulents and some tealights. For this tablescape I removed my runner and planter box from the table and grabbed my three IKEA round woven placemats that usually sit on top of the TV console.  I took some glass milk bottles and added a little babysbreath (that has been going strong for three weeks now) to give it some height.  Next I arranged some of my succulents from the kitchen tiered tray and lastly added some tealights.         So simple and I didn't need to spend anything.  (More money for that Mothers Day wine! :)) XOXO

Patio Refresh! Get your outdoor space summer ready!

Summer is just around the corner and I've been searching for some items to revamp our back patio.  I'm still in the process of deciding if I'll take the plunge and attempt fabric painting our faded outdoor cushions...this is yet to be decided! In the meantime I found some cute and affordable ways to give your patio a fresh update! (All Links provided by Amazon Affiliate Program)   I'm especially fond of those black and white striped outdoor pillows...oh and the energizer flameless lanterns below!  So take a look and see if anything works with your outdoor space! This weekend we are clearing out our paver patio and giving it a good powerwash and seal! Once it's finished I can't wait to add some new items!  1.    Decorative Lanterns Value 2 Pack By Energizer 2.   Picnic Caddy & Planter Set 3.  Set of 2 ~ 20" Black and White Stripe Decorative Square Throw Toss Pillows ~ Indoor Outdoor Fabric ...

The Little Ranch That Could.....

Hi guys! With time on my hands this week I've already began pulling together my ideas and materials for our next flip.  This will already be our third flip for 2016....not too shabby! We are definitely moving right along this year and don't plan on stopping this momentum! In about 18 days we close on a small single family ranch home.  It currently has two bedrooms but we've decided to meet with our contractor Monday (well my husband is since I've got a little one recovering) to see how much and how complicated it would be to add a third bedroom and a laundry room.  The house is in a nice neighborhood and has a pretty large lot. I've also decided to finally switch things up and not use Greecian Marble Subway tile! LoL! Here's a look at what I'm thinking!  Floors - Home Depot Marazzi Montagna Natural Wood Tile Cabinets - Home Depot, White Countertops - Granite, Giallo Ornamental Light Granite Backsplash - Merola Tile Tessera Subway...

Mothers Day is right around the corner and one gift you can never go wrong with is a new Handbag, Purse, Tote...whatever you want to call it! Every girls bestfriend!  Show mom how much you care by gifting her a new designer inspired bag that won't break the bank! All these options below come from one of my favorite company's...ALDO! (and they are all under $50 SHIPPED!) Listed left to right, top to bottom 1.   Aldo Smile Tote Bag  In "Bone".  I love this fun summer chic bag with its pop of color! 2.  Aldo Granlaby Tote Bag in Navy . I mean cmon! This is the cutest bag ever! I'm totally digging the nautical vibes, say for some summer trips momma has planned!  3.  Aldo Bogard Tote Bag in Orange .  This bag literally looks like a certain designer bag that costs about a bazillion dollars! It caught my eye right away and I was drawn to the fun orange color.  I love this style purse because it can be used casually or dressed up!...
