Choosing light bulbs for your home can get pretty overwhelming.  The light bulb aisle alone is intimidating!! I have learned over the years that a brand I can count on is EcoSmart.  EcoSmart light bulbs are sold exclusively at The Home Depot and make choosing the right light bulbs for your home easy!

This past May EcoSmart launched a new line of Innovative Feature Light Bulbs in store and online.  I wanted to go over some of my favorite light bulbs from the line and their unique features, not to mention the quality and price value you can expect from The Home Depot.

I have always wanted dimmable lights in the master bedroom and EcoSmart has launched a new LED 60 watt replacement (uses only 9.5 watts) built in dimming light bulb! Yes, built in dimming! This light bulb has a small switch that allows you to choose five different customized colors of light.  Aside from this creative design the estimated energy cost for the year is $1.14!! I absolutely love how EcoSmart light bulbs are certified and tested Energy Star Rated.  You know you are buying quality when the light bulb comes with a 10 year limited warranty and a 22 year bulb life. Click here to check out EcoSmart's new built in dimmer light bulb.

The new Innovative launch also features multiple color LED bulbs.  Specifically I was interested in the 40 watt replacement (uses only 4.5 watts) LED purple light bulb for Ava's bedroom.  The vivid purple light gives off total teen vibes!  I have to admit her room is super cool and I love the ambience the light bulb gives off.  Check out EcoSmart's LED purple light bulb if you want to add some color to your space!  If purple isn't your thing these LED light bulbs come in red, green, orange and blue as well as black light.  Or if you love all the colors they actually have a new Party Color Changing light bulb.

Some of the other new features include Motion Sense, Dusk to Dawn, Flame Bulbs, Bug Bulbs, Frosted Glass and Battery Backup Bulbs.  I actually have the Battery Backup Bulbs on my list to buy next.  These light bulbs are genius with summer storm season upon us.  The rechargeable bulb will stay on for up to three hours if the power is out.  Something else I thought was pretty amazing was how these bulbs can give the authentic look of Incandescent with the benefits of LED.

With this new curated collection there is no reason to settle for anything less! New and innovative features plus Eco-Friendly and energy efficient light bulbs with quality you can depend on..it's a win win!  You can shop EcoSmart light bulbs exclusively at your local The Home Depot or online at The Home Depot

Thanks for hanging out today!

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully...

Getting Your Home Ready For Holiday Guests!

The holidays are comming- can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?! I cannot! With the holidays approaching, I figured that this post was very timely.  I'm sure alot of you are currently stressing out about preparing your home for holiday guests and some of you might not know where to start.  Well, let me help you out. If you are struggling, keep reading because here are 5 ways to prepare your home for holiday guests. * Special thanks to my guest blogger Alex Berger for writing up this holiday blog post* 1. Stock The Pantry First of all, take note of who is comming.  Do you know thier likes and dislikes? If so, go ahead and stock the pantry and fridge with the things they prefer.  If you do not know what they enjoy, go ahead and ask them.  The reason that I always love to stock the pantry before my guests arrive is for a few reasons- 1) Having food in the house saves you from having the awkward "what are we going to eat" talk. 2) Having things...
