Our Stay At Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

*Disclaimer: Our weekend at Swan Dolphin was a hosted event.  Thank you to Swan Dolphin Hotel and Visit Orlando for having us! All opinions on this blog post are my own.*

Hey there! If you have been around for a while you know my family and I absolutely love Orlando.  We probably take at least five trips a year! I'm not talking about theme park trips either. I am talking about relaxing weekends at Orlando's amazing hotel selection!

When we recently got the opportunity to experience Visit Orlando's Magical Nights we were all very excited! Last weekend we spent two nights at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin (we stayed in the Swan building).  FYI the Magical Nights promotion has been extended to Oct 17, 2021 if you want to check out this beautiful property at a great price!

When you hear Disney you know it's going to be GOOD! Swan and Dolphin was such a beautiful hotel.  The property is huge but not in an overwhelming way.  Everything from the manicured landscape to the multiple pools and assortment of dining/bars was spot on.  I'm going to take you through a quick recap of our wonderful stay!

We checked in on Friday after such a great day spent at SeaWorld Orlando.  Check in was a complete breeze.  Our room was clean, modern and fresh.  Obviously room decor and design is important to me! I loved the crisp whites and calming blues used throughout.  The bathroom was also the perfect set up with two vanities!  When you're traveling with your family and everyone is taking turns showering that second vanity outside the bathroom is KEY! We also got a great balcony with spectacular views! I highly recommend requesting a balcony with the Epcot fireworks view!! It made for a little more Disney magic each evening!

Personally for my family a huge perk of the location was that the Disney Boardwalk was right there!! We actually spent both nights hanging out on the Boardwalk either before or after dinner.  It has something for everyone in the family.  Dining, margaritas, Boardwalk games, ice cream...you name it! Elton won the girls two large stuffed animals playing games while momma watched sipping her margarita!  It was so nice to have options like this without ever having to get in the car and leave the property.  (Another perk is the ferry ride to Hollywood Studios and Epcot).

Saturday morning after grabbing some breakfast at Garden Grove ( literally a "fairytale like" restaurant pictured below) we walked all around the property.  We even took a free ride on the Disney Skyliner which was pretty cool!

Afterward we relaxed lounging by the pool.  There were multiple pools to choose from.  My girls picked the large waterfall pool and I am pretty sure they went down the water slide about 100 times that afternoon.  There is so much to see and do by the pools.  We took the famous Swan paddle boat out on the lake and played on the beach too.  It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.

We were all so impressed with Swan Dolphin and see ourselves comming back again to take advantage of the location to Epcot! I do not have any negative feedback about the weekend! The hotel was clean and had sanitizer for you everywhere! The employees were all extremely nice and helpful.  We never felt like we were in a crowded area and masks were always worn inside the hotel.  The food and drinks were delicious, and the location is superb.  Honestly what more could you ask for?! It seems a lot of you agree and have mentioned to me you have been comming here for years! I'm happy that now I'm in on the secret!!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget you can view our weekend by watching my Instagram story highlight "Orlando".

Neutrals by BEHR Paint

I've been working on a project for the past two weeks and what always seems to be the most challenging part is choosing paint colors.  I have been wanting to find a nice neutral that isn't too "Gray" and isn't too "Beige" but not too white either. I personally like the look of white walls in pictures but in reality I'm not a huge fan.  Also, I like to see a contrast between painted walls and white trim.  Each time I look over on Pinterest for inspiration I find lots of suggestions for other paint brands..but I'm a BEHR girl :)  We spend so much time at Home Depot it just makes more sense for us.  That being said I decided to share with all of you my suggestions for finding the perfect "light Greige" by BEHR Paints!   To start off with here are three options that are lighter/cooler but will still show a nice contrast next to white. 1. Drizzle 2. Sterling 3. Halation These three options are als

4 Tips for Selling Your Home!

*Sponsored Post. Thank you to our talented guest blogger, Alex Berger, for sharing these 4 tips on selling your home!* Selling your home can be extremely stressful, but if you are in the beginning stages of the home selling process, I have a few tips for you! About four years ago, my parents packed up their home and moved from Marietta, Georgia to Amelia Island, which is about 30-40 minutes from the Jacksonville airport. They had no idea what to expect when it came to buying in a city that was completely new to them (they had only visited Jacksonville once - for two days!), so it was pretty stressful for them. Now, looking back, they could have done many things differently in order to make the process a lot easier for themselves, especially when it came to selling their home. But, since the selling process is so complex and stressful, a lot of people do it “wrong,” and they are just one of many, which is why I want to help. Here are a few tips for selling your home. Hopefully
