Decorating your home can be expensive (especially when styles and trends change so often). I personally like to keep the large expensive items in the room very classic...you know.. the rug, the couch, the TV console. That way all the smaller items can be switched out when you want...whether your style is changing or if you just need a room "refresh".
Today on the blog I'm sharing lots of decorating ideas that aren't going to cost you the big bucks! Over the years I've found that switching out my pillows on the couch can instantly change the look. I usually try to find a set of pillows (at a cheaper price) and then add a different focal pillow in the middle that I may spend a little more money on!
A classic neutral floor pouf is the perfect addition to any family room and can add so much texture to the space.
A wooden dough bowl is the perfect item to spend on because you can easily switch out the contents for the season etc or just plain leave it empty!
The galvanized tray I found below is a STEAL of a price and I find that mine gets so much use! I throw the girls Ipads on it, magazines, books! Take a look and see what you think!
